Product Description
Sodium iodide (NaI) crystal is a conventional scintillation crystal with a density of 3.67g/cc and a yield of 40,000photons/MeV with an energy resolution of 6.5% for 662keV and a attenuation time of 360ns. This material is easy to delix, must be encapsulated in the crystal material before it can be used. This kind of crystal material is mainly used in counting, energy spectrum analysis and other radiation detection equipment.
We have complete capabilities in sodium iodide crystal devices, including single crystal growth, polycrystal preparation, crystal processing and packaging. Sodium iodide polycrystal has superior mechanical properties and comparable scintillation properties to single crystals. It is the preferred material for high temperature and strong vibration in harsh environment.
