Square devices

In some applications the device shape is required to be square, and this shape allows the device to be in full contact with the SiPM. Because square devices are less symmetrical than circular devices, the energy resolution will be worse than circular devices. Like circular devices, this device will change with aspect ratio and the energy resolution will change, generally as the aspect ratio increases, the energy resolution will decrease.
